My Journey:
When I was 40 years old, I was diagnosed with three autoimmune conditions. I bounced around to multiple doctors, unsure of what was happening to my body. I was exhausted, discouraged, and scared.
Luckily, I have an uncle who is an MD and a functional medicine doctor (integrative). He introduced me to functional medicine.
At his recommendation, I found an extraordinary integrative medicine doctor who became my healer, inspiration, and guru. She is warm, immensely knowledgeable, a great listener, an incredible diagnostician, and an inspiration for me. Working with her I learned healing is possible when you take a whole-body approach to wellness. By using food as medicine, making lifestyle changes, healing my gut microbiome, detoxing from heavy metals, and addressing underlying imbalances in my body, I became completely disease-free. I have never felt better. My mission is to pay it forward, providing hope to those who are ready for change but cannot do it alone. Aging does not have to come with side effects.

I believe that no one should suffer needlessly or accept fatigue, pain, or discomfort as a normal part of life. My goal is to provide the education, tools, and support needed to help others feel strong, vibrant, and resilient at any age. You can regain control of your life.

At Harris FN&H, I take a functional medicine approach to health and wellness, which sets me apart from many other coaches. Rather than simply addressing symptoms, I focus on overall well-being. Knowledge is power and the more you understand how your body works and why it works that way, the more you can regain control. You can effect positive change.
In addition to being a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I pursued advanced education to better serve my clients. I earned a Master’s in Functional Medicine and Nutrition. This comprehensive training allows me to provide evidence-based, personalized guidance that goes beyond traditional health coaching.
I bring a collaborative and deeply empathetic approach. I have been in your shoes, searching for answers and feeling overwhelmed. Because of my personal experience overcoming autoimmune disease, I relate to your challenges and frustrations. Each journey is unique, but together we can work towards success.
Most importantly, I walk the walk and talk the talk. Every strategy, recommendation, and approach I share is grounded in real-life experience and science-backed research. My approach is doable because I live this lifestyle every day.
What I am interested in now
I stay active by playing tennis, strength training, and swimming. I love exploring farmers' markets for fresh, seasonal produce. I enjoy cooking healthy meals, volunteering in my local community, and participating in book clubs. Wherever I am I immerse myself in the culture. Whether it is seeing Broadway shows, running in parks, exploring museums, or trying exciting new experiences, I am always living life to the fullest. I do like to slow down and savor the simple joys—spending quality time with family and friends, sitting by the ocean, and laughing. I believe in embracing life wholeheartedly while maintaining vibrant health, and I bring this same passion to my work.
Right now, I am exploring seasonal anti-inflammatory foods, new research on gut health and microbiome diversity, the latest studies on cardiovascular health, and insulin resistance. Whether it is experimenting with nutrient-dense recipes or learning about cutting-edge wellness approaches, I am always excited to bring the latest insights to my clients! I am really into the science part of what I do!
